We have two reading periods for general submissions (1 August to 1 November; and 1 December to 1 April).
We also accept our annual theme submissions from 1 August to 1 November. Click here for the current theme.
You may only submit once for each genre per reading period. (For instance, you could submit up to five poems, a short story, a work of creative nonfiction, anda themed work of short fiction for the 1 August to 1 November reading period.)
Contest submissions may carrently only be submitted with check via paper mail.
- Fill in all of your contact information. If you are submitting work for someone else, fill in your contact info and fill in the name of the person your are submitting for in the "writer name" field.
- Fill in the title(s) of the work(s) you are submitting. If you are submitting multiple works, separate titles with commas. If you are submitting poetry (up to five poems), please place all of the poems in a single file.
- Use the browse button to find the file on your computer that you would like to submit. Select the file and click on the open button. Your file will then appear in the "file" field.
- Please use the comments field to enter your cover letter or any additional information you'd like to send, then click submit.
- You will then have the option to review your information and confirm that it is correct. Hit continue and you're done.
